The work party got of to a great start only the weather let us down with the temptures just getting colder as the week went on.It could have been worse it could have snowed!!It was -2 to -5 at night and just above 0 during the day.The fishing started of not bad with Paul taking a lovely 31-12lb common from the lodge, then Martin took a nice mirror of 34-08 from M2, then Steve AKA 3am had a cracking 44-04 mirror from Banzais . Then Big Steve dropped one from M2 then paul  had a 25lb Mirror from tight squeeze. But conditions were just getting colder martin managed to squeeze one more out of M2 a 39-00 mirror, we had 3 more dropped fish and that was the lot for the week most of the guy's wanted to stay in the lodge and stay warm at night, so most of the fish came  from a pub chuck. I like to thank the boys for a great weeks work the swims look stunning and I know it was hard work  moving 26 ton of  pea shingle and 20 ton of chippings to repair the road, but boy's you done a great job and I can't thank you enough, Im just sorry you didn't have some better weather and some more fish. last year it was 22 sunny and the fishing was great 55 fish for the week, what a difference a year makes.
