The week started well with most  of the anglers taking fish straight away. The weather was not bad with temperatures ranging from 6 to 10 at night and 16 to 22 during the days. The water temperature by the end of the  week was 16. All the anglers took fish with Edwin taking 18 fish in the Lodge to 48-08lbs with an average of 37-02lb. Shane in R2  took 11 fish which most were upper 30's to 39lb. Spud  in R1 took 6 fish to 40lb and smashed his PB. Mark in M2 took 8 fish to 43-15lb. A stunning common!and smashed his pb, Mark brought his mentor Alan as it was his 70th birthday and his first time to France, Alan only had 2 fish but what a cracking 2 fish he had . A brace of 40's and of course his Pb a stunning 48-12lb mirror. So when we were taking the photo's the moment was right for a water shot and not in the lake!! you guest it it a bucket of water over his head, and what a shot it was it will be on my wall in the lodge on canvas, well done Alan what a fish! Andre broke his 20kg with a 53lb mirror. and of course his pb. Nick took 7 fish from 61 with a nice brace of 40+ to 46-07lb. menno in the boathouse took 6 fish with a brace of 40+ mirrors and broke his pb, Adam took 3 fish an dropped 2 but did brake his PB and all this was by Thursday, By the end of the week we had 1 x50lb+ 9 x40lb+ and an average of 32-09lbs we had  21 dropped fish and lost 2 in the snags. Our total weight for the week was 2,109-05lbs. What a great bunch of guys this week it would be nice to see them all come back together  next year. I would like to thank Alan for a most entertaining week and wish he could have been my match angling coach. Thanks to all the guy's for looking after my fish and lake.
