Week 17 and getting close to the masters and I'm busy planning and getting things in order. I only have once chance of doing this right and i was not oging to let anyone down, I see the Masters in 2 to 3 years being the world Masters with a prize fund for 1st place at 20,000€, so watch this space.

Well back to the fishing for this week we only had 4 guy's on this week and were not arriving till Sunday so this meant I had a extra day to sort the swims and cut the grass there were fish crashing under the tree's in tight squeeze to the  right and fish were stacked up down the west and east arm of the lake, the biggest problem  with only 4 anglers on the lake the fish have a lot of room to hide. The guy's arrived Sunday morning about 9am and after a cup of tea, we walked  round the lake. As we approached tight squeeze a big mirror lumbed  out under the tree's right in front of us and that's as far as two of the guy's wanted to walk, they were happy to go back and get there stuff and set up in tight squeeze! The other 2 anglers went in M2 so we had both ends of the lake covered. The weather for the week was to be 26 to 30 and fish were showing all over the lake especially dow the west and east arm. The week got of to a good startwith Mick Crow in tight squeeze taking 2 big mirrors of  57-12lb from the left of tight squeeze under the tree's and a monster coomon of 55-00lb from the island. Rob in M2  alos took a nice common of 40-02lb from  far margin. i decided I would have a fish from Wednesday till Friday as this would be the only time as the Masters wass fast aproaching! Tight squeeze can be a fuuny old swim  as it seems not to do loads of fish but the fish it does  do are normally BIG! lets see how the week progress.  Well by Wednesday we were all on the fish with Mick taking a brace of 50's in one night a stunning 57-12lb mirror and a cracking 55lb common, Mat also took 3 carp to 48lb including a stunning common 46-02lb. Rob in M2 took 2 fish to 40-06lb and Carl only managed a stunning 39-12lb mirror. By the end of the week the total was rob taking 8 fish to 48lb, Mat taking 4  fish 48lb Mick taking only 4 but what a haul 2x 50's to 57-12lb and 2x 40's to 43lb his avrage for the week was 49-03lbs. Carl took 3 fish to 39-12lbs  and I managed 4 fish to 46-02lb our total for the week was 19 fish but we did have 2 50's to 57-12lb , 7 40's to 48lb and a avrage for the week of 42-06lb with 4 dropped fish.
