WEEK 16 13-07-2013 TO 20-07-2013

23/07/2013

The weather was hot and sunny all week with temptures ranging from 28 to 32, nights were hot and muggy, and clear if not it would have been even hotter. The boys had not been here before and by mid week they had decided that they would be coming back next year. This group were one of the nicest bunch of anglers I had ever met. Dave and Gavin had hearing problems or more to the point they were deaf, but what a funny 2 guy's. I have now named one of my trees after Dave as he caught it twice, so the tree to the left of R2 is now called "Dave's tree" all the boys caught  fish and the week steadly improved with the boys putting the bait in and the fish moving on to it. Toward the end of the week the fish started to crash out  more and were bubbling on the bait. M2 done the biggest fish this week a lovely 45-12lb mirror to Rob. Top rod this week was Bradley with 20 fish from the Lodge, with plenty of 30's coming but he just could not get on the bigger fish, until he lost one under the willow tree to the right of the swim. We ended up with 46 fish for the week 7 snagged and 9 dropped which gave as a total of 62 fish on this  week, our average for the week was 30-05lb. Well done boy's a great week considering the weather was so hot, I like to thank  you all for a great week and looking after my fish. I am looking forward to seeing you all again next year.
