Week 14 and we are already nearly 1/2 way through the season. This week we only had 4 anglers on the lake and the  weather was to be hot all week ! 29-31 with temperatures this high I think most of the  fish will come out at night or early morning. Vince, Simon Mark and Richard  had not been to the lake  before  and were very please  to find that they had the hole lake to themselves. I told them that it could work against them if they all fished  close to each other,and the fish would move away from there lines. Simon went in M2, Mark went in Banzias , Richard went in Boathouse and Vince in 61. So they covered most of the lake as best they could with only 12 rods between them. Simon was on the fish first with a 30+ Mirror then a cracking 48-08lb Mirror then he had a brace of 30+, he just couldn't  do anything wrong. Richard moved to R2 after seeing fish in the snags and banked a couple of upper 20's. Then Vince got on the fish banking a stunning 48-06 common, then a 49-00lb common. Richard moved back into the Boathouse. Then I got a call on the radio it was Simon in M2 he had got a 60-04lb mirror in the net. I went up to M2 to see the fish and  what a fish. First it wasn't one of my known 60's it was a new one I still haven't  at this time of writing my blog found out which 50 has gone over the magic 60 but I soon will. Well Simon was all a quiver holding that monster but he done well !! first time to France and he just kept smashing his PB. Well done Simon what a week's fishing. Mark couldn't get on the fish in Banzais. So he moved to Tight squeeze and  managed to take  a 28-11lb common, But that's fishing . Richard was back on the fish taking 3 more in the boathouse then Vince in 61 took a monster 54-10lb mirror. The fishing was steady all week and we had some monster lumbs out. Top rod for the week was Simon taking 10 fish to 60-04lb  with an average of 44-10lb. We ended up the 25 fish on the bank 5 dropped and an average of 36lb for the week. We had 1 x 60-04lb  1 x 54-10lb and 6 x 40+ to  49-00lb. I would like to thank the boy's for a great week and Simon for banking a new 60+ Mirror, that makes 4 x 60+ fish in BOSSARD now !!!
