This  week we had 4 army boys fishing and as they do such a great job for us making our lives safer. i was  hoping for a great session at Bossard for them. The week started of well with 4 fish coming out on the second night. Stu on 61,, mark on M2 and me in the Lodge. Then Dave was on the fish on 61 taking 2 upper 20's mirrors.Then Stuart had 45-07lb mirror, then I  took a clonker of  a mirror a 49-02lb, then john in tight squeeze took a lovely 45-13lb mirror known has hart tail. Then Dave was back on the fish in 61 with a nice 40-07lb mirror, Rob in RB's lost  2 in the snags, Romain my french friend fished for one night as my guest and banked 2 fish a 37-02lb common and 35-08lb mirror. Ian in tight squeeze couldn't get on the fish so moved to the point and  had 4 takes the first night, losing 2 and banking 2 a stunning 39-12lb mirror and a common of 36-08lbs. Rob after  losing 2 fish in RB's moved to the Lodge and smashed his PB 3 times taking 5 fish to over 40lb+ he also lost 3 fish. Ben in R1 ended up with 2 fish and Paul my bailiff fished for a couple of night and took 4 fish from R2 to just over 36lbs. The weather for the week was not as good as it could have been with rain for most of the week.The water temperature went down to 2 from 16 down to 14.There is  about 1,000000 gallons of water coming  through the lake at the moment. The weather for next week looks much better. We ended the week with 37 fish on the bank we had 7 x 40+ to 49-02lbs, 12 dropped fish and 3 lost in the snags.Our average for the week was 32-09lb. Come on Boy's sharpen them hooks 12 dropped fish from hook pulls means only 2 things blunt hooks, and  leads not discharging quick enough!! i would like to say what a great week we had at Bossard this week, and things are under way to arrange a inter Amy competition between England, Holland, Germany and Belgium in 2016 at Bossard what a great week that will be!! Thanks to all the boy's for looking after my fish and looking forward to seeing you next year. Oh yes hope your Shoulder is getting better Dave!
