WEEK 10 01-06 2013 TO 08-06-2013

08/06/2013

The week started well with the fish feeding in R1 and R2 with Andy and Trevor on the fish from the start. Then Sean took a stomping 49lb mirror from 61. The  water temperature was rising and by Monday morning it was over 18, the weather was to be hot all week and I'm sure the fish would spawn by  mid week. Wednesday morning the fish decided they had waited long enough and started thrashing in the reeds down by the point this went  on for the remainder of the week, but the boy's kept slowly catching, by the end of the week we ended up with 29 fish on the bank with most of the fish being the smaller males but still managed 5 40lb+ fish to 49lb and an average of 31-04lbs. We had 5 dropped fish and 2 lost in the snags. I still think the fish will still have another go at spawning, as it was on and off this week, and the fish really didn't go mad like they usually do due to the weather. The water temperature is now 22 and Friday and all day Saturday the fish have been sun bathing all along the road bank and have stopped chasing each other now!! Lets see how it fishes next week. I like to thank all the anglers for a great week and looking after my fish and lake .See you next year.
